What is Calm Anxiety?
Calm Anxiety: Blisswell is a psychoeducation app on anxiety coping skills, written by clinical psychologist Murat Yön. It has a 16-module programme (12 foundation and 4 deepening modules; the place of some modules is adjusted to your answers) and a “Calm Now” tool that is always free. It is not therapy and does not diagnose; it is not an emergency service either.
IN A HARD MOMENT
Settle first, understand later.
The Calm Now tool opens at any time, with no account and no payment. One instruction per screen, large buttons and a way out at every step.
-
Paced breathing
A slow, paced breathing exercise. If you like, you note how you feel before and after.
-
Coming back to now
A low-effort grounding exercise based on noticing your surroundings with your senses.
-
Someone you trust
A short step that helps you reach out to a person you trust.
-
Professional and emergency support
Professional and emergency resources by country. If you are not safe, the app does not suggest exercises; it opens these resources directly.
Calm Now is not an emergency service. If you have thoughts of harming yourself or you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
HOW THE PROGRAMME IS BUILT
Six stages, one path.
Each module is a week of work: five core days, one practice day and one review day. Progress follows the steps you complete, not the calendar; if you take a break, nothing breaks.

In total 16 modules and 112 guided sessions.
HOW IT WORKS
Small steps, at a pace you choose.
A short assessment
You answer what you would like to work on and how anxiety touches your daily life. The result is not a diagnosis; it only personalises the order of your journey. You can skip any question.
Sessions of a few minutes
Each session has a short piece of information, a thinking step and, most of the time, a small practice to try in everyday life. The reason for each practice is always explained.
Small experiments in real life
In the avoidance and safety-behaviour modules you try small steps that you choose yourself. No step is compulsory; you can shrink it, postpone it or drop it at any time.
Your own system
At the end of the programme you gather what you have learned into a single personal coping plan.
WHO IT IS FOR
You do not need a reason to be curious.
Constant worry and overthinking
Times when your mind keeps circling back to the same thought and the “what if” sentences do not end.
Tension in the body
Recognising signs such as tight muscles and restlessness, and working with them. For new, severe or unexplained physical symptoms, see a doctor first.
Avoidance and putting things off
Noticing avoidance that protects you but narrows your life, and approaching things in small, chosen steps.
Social situations and performance
Working with anxiety that rises when you speak, sit an exam or feel evaluated.
Thoughts before sleep
There is a separate deepening module for thoughts that circle at night.
Just curious
You do not need a problem to learn how anxiety works.
PRIVACY
Your journal stays on your device.
Anxiety is personal. The app is built around that.
-
What you write stays on your device
Your journal, mood entries, assessment answers and personal maps are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
-
Only your account in the cloud
The server holds only your email address, account ID and subscription status.
-
Neutral notifications
Lock-screen notifications never mention an anxiety topic or symptom.
-
Delete at any time
You can export or delete your data, and you can send a request to have your account deleted.
WHAT IT IS NOT
It states its limits up front.
- It is not therapy.
- It does not diagnose; it does not decide whether you have an anxiety disorder.
- It does not provide treatment; it contains no medication or medical advice.
- It is not a treatment programme for panic disorder or any other anxiety disorder; it offers general anxiety-coping skills.
- It is not an emergency service.
If anxiety clearly disrupts your daily functioning or has lasted for months, see a mental health professional. If you already work with one, you can tell them you use the programme alongside. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
