The clinician behind Blisswell
The content on this site comes out of the framework of one clinical psychologist. Here is his training, where he practises, and how to check all of it independently.
Blisswell's content comes out of the framework of one clinical psychologist: someone who works with these problems in practice, in a consulting room in Bursa, Türkiye. The choice of topic, the clinical approach and the decision to publish are his.
In this field it is usually unclear who stands behind the content. Here there is a name on every page, an independently verifiable licence behind that name, and an open account of how the content is produced.

Why these apps exist
Sexual difficulties are among the most common reasons people seek psychological help, and among the least likely to be talked about. Many people wait years before mentioning them to anyone. Some never do.
Therapy is the right answer for many of them. But it is not available to everyone, because of cost, distance, waiting lists, or simply because saying the words out loud to another person feels impossible at first.
Blisswell exists for the gap in between: structured, private, self-paced programs built on the same approaches used in the consulting room, gradual exposure, sensate focus, cognitive work on anxiety, body awareness; that someone can begin alone, at home, before or instead of a waiting room.
What Blisswell is not
- Not a diagnosis. The apps and guides do not diagnose any condition and are not a substitute for medical or psychological assessment.
- Not a health service. These are psychoeducation and wellbeing programs. Where a condition needs clinical support, the right step is to see a professional. And the content says so.
- Not adult entertainment. There is no pornographic or erotic content in any Blisswell app or on this site.
- Not a replacement for therapy. For many people it is a first step, or a support alongside therapy. It is not a substitute for it.
The apps

Blisswell Couples — a shared program two partners work through together, now on iOS and Android. Blisswell Anxiety, for anxiety and worry, is in development.
