Your privacy is fundamental to Blisswell. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Blisswell: Sexual Wellness app ("Blisswell", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Because our app touches on sensitive topics, we designed it to collect as little as possible and to keep what we do collect private.
1. Who we are
The app is operated by GMY Bilişim Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("GMY Bilişim"), the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Information we collect
a. Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides (and an email, which may be a private relay address if you choose to hide it).
b. Wellness and progress data
To provide a personalized program, we store your in-app activity: which chapters, modules, and sessions you've started or completed, your progress and streaks, saved notes or journal entries you choose to write, favorites, and answers you provide in exercises. Some of this may relate to your sexual health and well-being and is therefore treated as sensitive (special category) data — see Section 8.
c. Couple Mode data
If you connect with a partner, we process an invite code and link your two accounts so that shared exercises and progress can be exchanged between you. Content you submit in couples exercises may be visible to your connected partner by design.
d. Subscription data
Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. To manage entitlements, we work with our subscription provider (RevenueCat) and receive your subscription status, product identifiers, and anonymized purchase events.
e. Technical and notification data
We collect a device push token (if you enable notifications), basic device and app information, and diagnostic data needed to keep the service secure and functioning.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To deliver the app's content and track your personal progress.
- To enable Couple Mode features between connected partners.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock premium (Pro) content.
- To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your data.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the app and features you request.
- Consent: for notifications and for processing sensitive wellness data you choose to enter. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure and improve reliability.
- Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
8. Sensitive data
Content you enter about your sexual health and well-being is sensitive. We process it only to provide the app to you, only with your consent, and we never share it for advertising or sell it. You control what you enter, and you can delete it at any time.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact [email protected]. You may also delete your account directly within the app. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
Blisswell: Sexual Wellness is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
